Co-Fund NI portfolio company SaltDNA, a Cybersecurity 500 company and the leader in secure mobile communications for the enterprise, is delighted to release the extension of its product suite to support message broadcasting.
The new capability released by SaltDNA will allow customers to push out live alerts to large groups of users within an organisation. The new broadcasting capability will enable organisations to send messages, share images and documents as well as assign the level of severity to an alert. In order to further highlight critical issues, SaltDNA have allocated different alert tones for different severity levels. These elements will allow organisations to effectively broadcast information for incident response purposes such as emergency services alerts, data breaches or environmental warnings to a large number of users with the confidence that it is secure.

SaltDNA CEO first announced the availability of message broadcasting for chosen SaltDNA customers at Black Hat USA in August 2018. Since then the feature has been embraced by government & security, financial and legal clients across the globe. The secure message broadcasting feature allowed these organisations to not only push alerts out to internal staff, but also in certain cases industry wide announcements to protect competition about potential cyber attack attempts.
